Introduction

The current digital identity landscape is broken. Users are forced into an impossible trade-off:

  • Security (High Friction): Remembering complex passwords, managing physical tokens, or safeguarding 24-word seed phrases. Losing a seed phrase means catastrophic, irreversible loss.

  • Convenience (High Risk): Reusing simple passwords, or using centralized biometric systems (like Face ID) that store sensitive, spoofable biometric data on corporate servers, creating a single point of failure.

In the Web3 space, this problem is amplified by the lack of a trusted "Proof-of-Humanity" (PoH). Sybil attacks, bot-driven airdrop farming, and DAO governance manipulation are rampant, eroding trust and fairness.

Palma was created to solve this. We provide a single, universal identity solution that is more secure than a seed phrase and more convenient than a password. By anchoring a user's digital identity to their unforgeable, living biometric, we provide a foundational layer of trust for the next generation of the internet.
