Palma DID Framework
The Palma DID Framework explains how this cryptographic key becomes a functional, interoperable identity.
-
W3C Compliance: Our framework is fully compliant with W3C DID and Verifiable Credential (VC) standards, ensuring universal interoperability.
-
DID Registry: A core smart contract (deployed on Polygon zkEVM) that acts as the source of truth, mapping a user's did:palma identifier to their corresponding public key.
-
VC Management: We adopt the standard Issuer-Holder-Verifier model:
- Holder: The Palma Wallet holds and controls all VCs.
- Issuer: Partners (e.g., KYC providers, universities, social platforms) issue cryptographically signed VCs to the user's DID.
- Verifier: DApps or services request proof from the user's wallet.
