What is Palma?

Palma is a complete identity ecosystem, consisting of a decentralized protocol and a user-facing application.

  • The Protocol (Palma-DID): A set of smart contracts and off-chain technologies that enable the creation, management, and verification of DIDs secured by Palmprint biometrics. It serves as a decentralized "Proof-of-Humanity" layer.

  • The Product (Palma Wallet): The user's gateway to the Palma ecosystem. It is the first "All-in-One" wallet where a user's Palm is the Key. It combines:

    • Identity: The core did:palma identifier.
    • Credentials: A secure vault for holding VCs (e.g., KYC status, social logins, academic degrees).
    • Assets: A multi-chain crypto wallet for managing tokens and NFTs.
    • Data: Integration with decentralized storage for personal files.
